New York Real Estate Group focuses on helping people make the transition from New York City to upstate in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills and to the Hamptons and the North Fork of Long Island.

Acting as a Buyer Broker we help people moving out of New York City to find the area that best suits them and then we work with them to identify the right home for them to purchase. We are also very knowledgeable about how to best locate and purchase land to build a house on and we consult with land buyers post closing to help them build the house of their dreams.

As a Buyers Broker we are known for our friendly professional service and the extra effort we go to so that our buyers can understand the market and find the best deals.

As part of helping people make the transition out of NYC we also work as a Sellers Broker with property owners in NYC who want to sell their property.

The other main focus of New York Real Estate Group is working with the owners of property upstate New York, the Hamptons and the North Fork of Long Island who want to sell.

As a Sellers Broker we are known to work hard to realize the best price in a timely fashion. We are hands on and in constant contact with any seller. We limit the amount of listings we have so as to truly be able to market and promote the sale of the property. In addition to representing the owners of residential properties the company has a specific focus working with the sellers of hospitality, commercial and mixed use properties. We are also very knowledgeable about how to subdivide, develop and sell land parcels.

The principal broker Paul McGinniss grew up in the Hamptons and started out in real estate there. He lived for many years in New York City where he worked with buyers and sellers of commercial and residential properties. Since the 1990's Paul has lived part time upstate New York where he goes when not consulting with buyers and sellers in New York City and Long Island.

Joseph Walker is a licensed real estate agent and the other half of the New York Real Estate Group team. He lived in New York City for many years and now lives in Ulster County New York. Joe has worked advising many entrepreneurs and business professionals and has a long history working as a strategic marketing and public relations consultant.

New York Real Estate Group has a wide group of contacts in New York City, Upstate New York and on Long Island that help meet the needs of the buyers and sellers that we work with. We cooperate fully with other real estate brokers and agents throughout our target areas so that we may best serve our clients.
